The Luxe Collection Feast For Two Hungry Dumplings

Or three Hungry Dumplings if you don't mind sharing.....

A Luxe Christmas Feast: Dim Sum Style

This Christmas, we're throwing the rulebook out the window and 'Doing Christmas Differently'. A Christmas feast that’s fancy, festive, and a lot more fun than Aunt Carol’s fruitcake. Enter The Luxe Collection: a dazzling lineup of premium dumplings, spring rolls, and sticky ribs that will have you wondering why you ever bothered with dry stuffing.

Here’s how to create the ultimate Christmas feast for two using The Luxe Collection, complete with slaw, pickles, and a side of smug satisfaction.

Shopping List:
  • 1x Pouch of Mixed Gyoza
  • 1x The Luxe Collection
  • Extra Rice and Dips
  • Ding Dong Pickles

Before You Start: The Prep

When cooking dim sum, success is in the preparation....

Carrot Slaw:
Grate a carrot. Drizzle over the Ding Dong Slaw Tang, mix, and pop it in the fridge.

Pickles:
Transfer your pickled treasures to small bowls. Instagram-worthy? Great. Pop them in the fridge to chill.

Plating:
Set out four plates, ready to be adorned with dim sum glory.

Cooking Instructions: Dim Sum

Step 1: The Oven & Steamer
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (no shortcuts; this is luxe, remember?).
- Boil the kettle and grease your steamer with a little oil.

Step 2: Dim Sum Time
1. **Mixed Gyoza:** Steam for 7 minutes. Then, fry them in a pan until golden and crisp. They're the overachievers of the group.
2. **Sticky Ribs:** Bake for 10 minutes while you turn your gyoza into crispy perfection.
3. **Char Siu, Har Kau, Sui Mai:** Add these to your steamer and let them bask in their glorious steam spa for 13-15 minutes.
4. **Spring Rolls:** Pop them in the oven alongside the ribs. Turn them halfway through for maximum crispiness.
5. **Spicy Chicken Dumplings:** Add these to the steamer for the final 7 minutes of cooking.

Step 3: Sticky Rib Glaze Drama
Remove the ribs, slather them in the sticky glaze, and pop them back in the oven for another 5 minutes, basting halfway through. Yes, they’re extra—but so are you.

Step 4: The Rice
Microwave the packets for 2 minutes, then pop into a bowl, fluffing it up with a fork.

The Grand Finale: Assembly

By now, your kitchen smells like a dim sum palace. Arrange everything on your prepped plates:

  • Gyoza glistening and crispy.
  • Spring rolls looking golden and glorious.
  • Dumplings lined up like royalty.
  • Sticky ribs begging to be devoured.

Add your carrot slaw and pickles, and don’t forget the Ding Dong Dips for dunking.

The Result

A Christmas feast that’s luxe, effortless, and utterly delicious. Gather your loved ones, pour the bubbly, and feast like the dim sum royalty you are.

P.S. You might want to stock up on The Luxe Collection—it’s got 'New Christmas Tradition' written all over it.

Happy Christmas, and as always, Much Love. X
